Location

Tallassee is just a few miles from Tabcat
Creek, the start of the Dragon on the
Tennessee side. The drive to the Dragon
takes you through the spectacular
scenery along the Tennessee River.

From Maryville, TN, take Hwy 411/129 south.
Five miles out of Maryville, you will come to a redlight where
the routes diverge, turn left to stay on Hwy 129.

After about 12 miles, you will come to a lake on your right.
(Telico Lake).

In about 2 more miles you will come to the old Tallassee
General Store on your left. (The sign on the road says "The
Country Store")

Turrn left at the store. In about a quarter mile, you will come
to a fork in the road. Go straight ahead, the direction of the
"Dead End" sign.

In a quarter of a mile, the road curves sharply to the left. The
cabins are on the right.
